SPECIAL PROJECTS
Humanitas & Hollywood HS
Humanitas partners with Hollywood High School for the first of its kind TV Writers Room
Students participate in a 12-Week program with a professional TV writer.
Students select a current show to examine. They then create a spec episode. Past shows have included On My Block where the co-creators of On My Block, Eddie Gonzalez and Jeremy Haft, attended a table read of the final student script.
Humanitas and Eddie Gonzalez created an inaugural competitive scholarship for participants of The Writers Room which in turn has become an annual scholarship .
